NHS England and NHS South Sefton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are seeking a new provider to deliver primary care services at Hightown Village Surgery.

Following extensive preparatory work to ensure the best possible chance of securing a new provider, the formal procurement process is due to start in early October 2017.

To ensure the optimum amount of time for this process - and, subject to a quality provider being found, make sure there is a reasonable handover and mobilisation period - the contract with the current provider of services at Hightown Village Surgery has been extended from 31 December 2017 to 31 March 2018.

This ensures that patients can continue receiving services Hightown Village Surgery as normal while longer term arrangements are made.
