The Alzheimer's society in Sefton is holding a series of events in Bootle to help support people with dementia and their carers.

Following the success of regular drop in information sessions at the May Logan Centre in Bootle, similar sessions will be held at the Strand By Me shop unit at Bootle Strand Shopping Centre every second Tuesday of each month from 1.30 to 3.30pm starting 9 August. The drop in sessions will allow you to gain information, support, answer questions and find out about local services.

The society is also running a one off pop up memory cafe in conjunction with Sefton OPERA at their offices at St Matthews Community 200, 410 Stanley Road, Bootle on Thursday August 4 from 2 until 4pm. The Café is for people living with dementia and their families to get together, support each other, share ideas and concerns in a relaxed informal setting. Society staff will be on hand to give information and support.
