Baby Week Cheshire and Merseyside – 15-21 November 2021

Monday, November 15, 2021

Baby Week Cheshire and Merseyside is taking place on 15-21 November 2021 with an exciting programme of events on offer to promote women’s and babies’ health.

The annual campaign brings together cross sector organisations to help babies get the best start in life, through sharing useful information, health tips and hands on experiences for families and healthcare professionals.

A range of online and in person events are on offer throughout the week, including ‘Singing Mamas’ - a harmony singing event for mums, a virtual arts exhibition called The Birth Rites Collection, a workshop for babies at a brand new aquarium at the World Museum and a reading and writing workshop with the Reading Agency and WriteWell.

Additionally, there are a range of educational events on offer, including a webinar on breastfeeding, an introduction to first aid for parents and carers, a discussion on COVID-19 vaccination in maternity and more.

There is also a free half-day conference for professionals focused on maternity and experiences during COVID-19, best start and maternity strategies, mental health, health inequalities and early years.

Baby Week Cheshire and Merseyside is organised by the Cheshire and Merseyside Women’s Health and Maternity (WHAM) network in collaboration with Baby Week Bradford and Leeds.
