Big Chat 9

For the third year running we combined our Big Chat event with our public Annual General Meeting (AGM), which gave us the opportunity to tell you about our performance and achievements for 2016-2017, as well as learning your views and opinions on a variety of topics important to us.

The event was held on 21 September 2017 in Netherton and included a brief update on our progress with Shaping Sefton, our borough wide transformation programme.

Big Chat 9 also included a session on the health service options available to Sefton residents should they fall ill, proposed changes to the way over the counter medicines are prescribed, a national consultation on prescribing, personal health budgets and how we might better involve you in our work.

We also had a session on health and wellbeing from Sefton CVS' community resilience development officer, Jan Campbell, who talked about self care and the importance of building the 'Five Ways to Wellbeing' into our lives through small changes and activities.

Take a look at the main presentation to find out about the other topics we discussed at 'Big Chat 9 meets annual review' and view our summary report which captures all the feedback from the event, including key themes from table discussions.
